October 29; November 5, 12, 19, and December 3,10 No Session on November 26 (Thanksgiving Week) "The Chocolate Touch" is a delightful story about a boy named John Midas who absolutely adores chocolate. Unfortunately, his doctor tells him he needs to cut back for his health. One day, he stumbles upon a mysterious coin and uses it to buy a box of chocolate from an unusual candy shop. To his surprise, he discovers that everything he kisses turns into chocolate! The story takes us on a fun and sometimes silly journey as John’s trumpet, a friend's shiny silver dollar, and even his mom turn into chocolate! Throughout his adventures, John learns important lessons about greed and the value of thinking about others. Ultimately, he realizes that to lift the chocolate curse, he must show that he’s no longer selfish. It's a sweet tale filled with laughter and important life lessons!
